I’m all about quick & easy styles for getting my hair up in the summertime, but what about when I want to look a little nicer than my everyday twist or ponytail? Like my 25th wedding anniversary that I have coming up next month!
This retro hairstyle, with a Lilla Rose twist will be perfect! It always makes me feel like a princess!
I made this video a few years ago, so there’s not as much glitter in my hair as I have now, but I think the style is timeless! I’ve got a beautiful dark green dress that I’ll be wearing for my anniversary, so now I’m trying to decide if I should use the Penny Flip & Hairband (on the left) OR the Madori Flexi (right) with the silver Etched Cluster Hairband. I’m leaning one direction, but please leave a comment and let me know which one you would choose!

For another beautiful variation of the Gibson Tuck, using an elastic band and a Flexi-Clip, but not a hairband, here’s my friend’s daughter, Kathleen. She’s using the Posy Flexi-Clip in Rose Gold.
I will do my anniversary hair with the hairband wrap trick shown in my first video, and leave out the elastics (ick!), but Kathleen’s hair is beautiful in this style!
