Explaining the Ready Set Win Program for New Stylists

I’m so excited to have you join me on this amazing Lilla Rose journey!  One of the first things you need to understand is the Ready Set Win program.  Through this program, you’ll have the opportunity to earn up to $600 in product just by working your new business!

Everything begins counting from your first full month.  So if you join any time between the 2nd to the 31st day of the month, your first full month is the following month.  So, using Tigris as an example will look like this:

20180731_151934Tigris started her new business by joining on September 14.  Her first full month will be October.  She has until October 31 to reach $350 in wholesale personal sales volume (PSV).  That gives her a month and a half to get her new business up and running!  Tigris should jump right in and schedule a Grand Opening Party and invite her friends and family, to introduce them to her new business!  She can also book her first Style Ups (aka parties) with just the items from her Ready Set Style starter kit!  Also, any amount of PSV that was over the Month 1 Goal is rolled into next month’s total.

NOTE: If Tigris joined with the Ready Set Style + FAST START kit, her PSV automatically starts out at $500 and she has already earned a $75 Shopping Spree just for joining!  $150 is automatically applied toward her Month 2 goal.

LillaBagOldTigris also has the opportunity to earn a Lilla Bag during her first full month!  By recruiting one friend to join, and helping that friend get to $200 PSV herself, the beautiful Lilla Bag display purse can be hers! Carry like any purse, diaper bag, or book bag to always advertise when you’re out and about.  A large pocket on the back and pockets inside help hold catalogs,  Lilla Looks and Style Sheets, so you’re always prepared to share your business!

NOTE: If Tigris joined with the Ready Set Style + FAST START kit, she will also get a BONUS when she brings a friend in to join her team – 40% of that New Stylist’s first order!  If the friend also joined with FAST START as well… do the math real quick… that’s a $200 Bonus Check!

20180731_151908Tigris’ second full month will be here before she knows it!  Tigris will have until November 30 to reach her Month 2 goal of $525 PSV.  Keep in mind, PSV comes from customers ordering from Tigris’ free website as well as orders placed through her back office.  Any amount that was over the Month 1 Goal is rolled into this month’s total. As Tigris continues to work, the Month 2 Goal will be easy to accomplish and another $100 Shopping Spree will be added to her account!  Any other New Stylists that join Tigris’ team will have earned her another $50 Shopping Spree!  Any PSV over this month’s goal will apply to the next goal.

NOTE: If Tigris joined with the Ready Set Style + FAST START kit, any other New Stylists that join her team will again earn her 40% of their first order, up to $200 cash, each.

20180731_151838Since Tigris joined in September, her first full month is October.  Her second month will be November, and her third month will be December.  Working hard has become a habit by now, and it’s paying off!  When Tigris’ roll-over plus her PSV combine together to reach $700 PSV, she will earn another $150 Shopping Spree for her Month 3 Goal! 

These shopping sprees can be used for business supplies as well as inventory, and by now Tigris may need to get some more order forms and such for all the business she’s been doing!  Any other New Stylists that join Tigris’ team will have earned her another $50 Shopping Spree, and you know it by now, and extra cash bonus if she was a FAST START!

Shopping Spree Tip:  Add business supplies to your shopping cart first when using your shopping spree points!  Then if any inventory in your order goes over the points amount, it will count toward that month’s PSV.

20180731_151808The last piece of the Ready Set Win program is the Winning Start, and the opportunity to earn the lovely Sterling Silver Lilla Rose LR Necklace.  This gift goes to New Stylists, Tigris included, when her cumulative PSV for her first three months reaches $2,000, and she has recruited a total of 3 New Stylists.

20th Anniversary!

20th Anniversary!

I had an awesome getaway with my hubby for our anniversary! We celebrated our 20 year wedding anniversary on the island of St John, US Virgin Islands! We spent a lot of time face down in the water, marveling at God’s creation. (Snorkeling – I got sunburned on the back of my legs only! LOL!) Still in recovery from category 5 hurricanes, Irma and Maria in 2017, we also saw much devastation.

The hiking trails, beaches, and reefs were definitely changed by these natural disasters, but recovery is coming. If you’d like to learn more about the recovery efforts, and how you can help, please visit USVI Recovery.

I’ll have to do another post on the gorgeous flora and fauna because the underwater pics are on hubby’s camera.

So, between the anniversary, the trip, and the enrollment special, wow what a week! Now if I can just get my body to catch up with these time changes…

What does it mean to work from home?

I work from home.  There’s a number of ways you can work this type of business, but for me, I do about 12 vendor shows a year, mostly work my business online, and sometimes do in-home parties.  With the ever-changing “algorithm” to deal with, and rural internet service, online work can be a challenge.  I’ve done a number of online parties, where I intended to do a live video.  Thankfully, I have a pre-recorded video stored on YouTube, I can link to when I’m in a pinch.

Imagine my surprise when my live actually worked last week!

LydiaPartyVidScreenShotAll that to give you an idea of what it means to work from home.  So here’s the scene…

I did my live video outside, on the back porch, because my daughters & husband were watching Hello Dolly (rather loudly) in the house.  I called one of the clips by the wrong size.  Goats were bleating in the background.  Sometime, when I turned around to show my hair, I was out of the screen.  My son walked in on the video, then wiped his mouth on his arm in the background.  At least he wasn’t picking his nose, right?  Then a goose started honking loudly.  All that happened within a 10 minute video.

Obviously, working from home is not always picture perfect!  If you’re waiting for everything to be in order before you start your work from home business, you’re going to be waiting forever!

But if you don’t get started, you’ll never be a business owner!  And you’ll never be growing a real business!  It’s work and it’s real life.  It’s balancing homeschool, customer follow-up, and healthy meals.  It’s things not always going as expected.  It’s stretching out of your comfort zone, but the freedom to do it from your comfort zone, with all the craziness going on around you.  It’s earning the title, “work from home mom.”  It’s teaching children to be entrepreneurs, to be responsible, and how to put labels on materials straight.  It’s having a cheering squad in the back seat when you open an incentive award package at the post office.  It’s teaching them that success is within reach, without giving up bedtime prayers.

When March comes roaring in…

Yes, it feels like March arrived a little early, as the end of February has been not just rainy, but windy. And I mean windy.

Have I ever mentioned that I don’t like wind? Well, I don’t. I don’t like it blowing my hair around or in my ears.

While I can’t change the weather, there is something I can do about the wind blowing my hair… put it up!

I was so excited to have earned our January Stylist Incentive from my company; and today, I found it in my mailbox! The girls and I were so excited, in fact, that we did the unboxing right in the car, in the post office parking lot!

I love the natural look of these new accessories!

Pantone’s 2018 Color of the Year

I was so excited to see this year’s Pantone Color of the Year! And if you know me, you know why!

I used to tell people that I selected my college because I liked their school colors best. I might go as far as to say that every year’s Color of the Year should be purple… But that might offend someone… Like my middle daughter.

Here are a few of the Ultra Violet accessories you may see me sporting this year (or any year, for that matter!). Comfortable, beautiful, durable, Ultra Violet accessories!

I guess we’ll just leave the powers that be alone and let them pick a new color next year, but deep in my heart the Color of the Year will always be purple. Or Ultra Violet 18-3838.

Eight Hostess Tips for a Successful Style Up

Congratulations on joining a very special group of Hostesses! As your Stylist, my job is to give you the tips to help you have the most successful event possible.

Hostess Love

  1. Personally invite no more than 50 friends. In this world of impersonal “friends,” this step goes a looking way! Call, message or text each person individually to invite them to your event. Invite only those that you believe would benefit from our product, ladies that enjoy wearing their hair up, enjoy wearing jewelry & some bling, or are just fun to have at your party! Invite ladies that you know well enough that you would invite them into your home. **Do not ADD them** to the FB event until they have responded positively! For easy text message invites, go here: Easy text messages to invite your guests. One more time, this is a personal invitation, not a group message or add without consent.
  2. Offer outside ordering to those that can’t attend. Communicate with your guests before your event. We hate for anyone to miss out on learning about this amazing product, so help them out! This also helps you get the most out of your hostess rewards. You’ll see the direct catalog link on the event page.
  3. Make a Wish List from your catalog. I bet you’ve already got a jump start on that step! Remember that our online catalog has many more options than our paper catalog. Feel free to take screen shots of your favorite items and post them on your event page so your guests know what you’re shooting for! If you don’t have a paper catalog, but would like one, please let me know ASAP.
  4. Comment on everything I post on the event page. Be excited! Your guests don’t know me; they want to hear from you. After all, you wouldn’t invite them to your home and then ignore them, would you?
  5. You are the celebrity endoresement! Post photos with your Flexi-Clips, if you have them, or post pictures of the ones you wish you had. (See #3 above!)
  6. Tag friends in the posts when appropriate. Comments like, “This would be great for you, @Janet,” or “This one would look gorgeous in your hair, @Rosaline,” will help your guests make their selections.
  7. Ask questions. If you have questions about the products, how to do a hairstyle, or the business opportunity, don’t be afraid to ask! Some of your friends might be wondering the same things.
  8. Thank the guests that join the event, and afterwards, those that place an order. I will do thank you posts and you can comment right on those.

BONUS: I thought this article would look strange with an odd number of tips, so I made this one a “bonus!” This is actually more a reiteration of the most important points – personal contact & interaction. As the Hostess, the success of your event largely depends on your involvement. If you click on the invite button and never talk to anyone, I’m sad to say, you will not have a successful event. Your guests need to hear your excitement and love for the product in your conversations with them, as well as in your comments, and they need to see the product in your hair; otherwise, it’s just another invite that gets no attention.
