November 2020 Hostess Opportunity

Great Gifts for Mom

Let’s face it. Moms rock. But even with all that awesomeness, sometimes we’re at a loss when it’s time to give them gifts. Here’s a few ideas for gifts for Mom, whether it’s Mother’s Day, her birthday, Christmas or other special time. If you’ve got some great ideas, leave them in the comments!

Mothering is hard work and often comes with little down time! Pick a pretty container and make a Pampering Basket for her! Include things like Rosewater or Sea Salt Spray, spa socks, relaxing lavender lotion, massage certificate, a Large Upin or XS Flexi, or a Sleep mask. When I was young, I did the pampering gift, even simpler, and got my mom some Calgon Bath Beads! Easy for a kid with limited funds, and still appreciated by my Momma that enjoyed reading in the tub. I was surprised to see you can still get Calgon Bath Beads – and now even gift sets are available online and probably in stores, too. She also enjoyed gift cards to bookstores along with her bath beads!

You can never go wrong with flowers! Almost universally, moms enjoy getting flowers. Whether a bouquet, a hanging basket, a corsage, or a perennial for her garden, flowers always tell mom she’s loved! Make sure to include her favorite color either in the blooms or in ribbon accents. (Never Lose Faith Arrangement by Twinbrook Floral Design. My mom would have loved this with the blue carnations, keepsake vase, and scripture reference.)

For the holidays, my mom would have loved this wreath with blue accents, too! To this day, I still always add blue flowers to her arrangements.

Of course, I must add my favorite accessories to the list, too. Most moms deal with hair a lot, whether their own or that of their daughters. And even though the “mom bun” is trending nowadays, moms do like to be noticed and look pretty.

Enter Lilla Rose. As you can see from this collage above (click to enlarge), there’s a pretty good variety of styles to meet the needs of most moms. Of course, I went with the blue theme again. My kids know to pick purple for me. One of my favorite gifts that I gave to my mom was a new Bible cover similar to this one. She was with me when we were shopping that day. I showed her several Bible covers and she picked one with a beautiful tapestry of flowers on the cover. Of course, the background was blue and it included little blue flowers in the design. Explaining the Ready Set Win Program for New Stylists

I’m so excited to have you join me on this amazing Lilla Rose journey! One of the first things you need to understand is the Ready Set Win program. Through this program, you’ll have the opportunity to earn up to $600 in product just by working your new business!

Everything begins counting from your first full month. So if you join any time between the 2nd to the 31st day of the month, your first full month is the following month. So, using Rachel as an example will look like this:

Rachel started her new business by joining on July 3. Her first full month will be August! She has until August 31 to reach $350 in wholesale personal sales volume (PSV), and yes, it is cumulative! That gives her almost two full months to get her new business up and running! Rachel should jump right in and schedule a Grand Opening Party and invite her friends and family, to introduce them to her new business! She can also book her first parties with just the items from her Ready Set Style starter kit! Also, any amount of PSV that was over the Month 1 Goal is rolled into next month’s total.

NOTE: If Rachel joined with the Ready Set Style + FAST START kit, her PSV automatically starts out at $500 and she has already earned a $75 Shopping Spree just for joining! $150 is automatically applied toward her Month 2 goal.

Rachel also has the opportunity to earn a Lilla Bag during her first full month! By recruiting one friend to join, and helping that friend get to $200 PSV herself, the beautiful Lilla Bag display purse can be hers! (Note: July 3-15, 2020, the qualification to earn the bag was lifted.) Carry like any purse, diaper bag, or book bag to always advertise when you’re out and about. Large pockets on the front and back, as well as pockets inside, help display and hold product, catalogs, Lilla Looks and Style Sheets, so you’re always prepared to share your business! NOTE: If Rachel joined with the Ready Set Style + FAST START kit, she will also get a BONUS when she brings a friend in to join her team – 40% of that New Stylist’s first order! If the friend also joined with FAST START as well… do the math real quick… that’s a $200 Bonus Check!

Rachel’s second full month will be here before she knows it! Rachel will have until September 30 to reach her Month 2 goal of $525 PSV. Keep in mind, PSV comes from customers ordering from Rachel’s free website as well as orders placed through her back office. Any amount that was over the Month 1 Goal is rolled into this month’s total. As Rachel continues to work, the Month 2 Goal will be easy to accomplish and another $100 Shopping Spree will be added to her account! Any other New Stylists that join Rachel’s team will have earned her another $50 Shopping Spree! Any PSV over this month’s goal will apply to the next goal.

NOTE: If Rachel joined with the Ready Set Style + FAST START kit, any other New Stylists that join her team will again earn her 40% of their first order, up to $200 cash, each.

Since Rachel joined in July, and her first full month is August. Her second full month will be September, and her third month will be October. Time is flying by and working hard has become a habit by now — and it’s paying off! When Rachel’s roll-over plus her PSV combine together to reach $700 PSV, she will earn another $150 Shopping Spree for her Month 3 Goal!

These shopping sprees can be used for business supplies as well as inventory, and by now Rachel may need to get some more order forms and such for all the business she’s been doing! Any other New Stylists that join Rachel’s team will have earned her another $50 Shopping Spree, and you know it by now, and extra cash bonus if she was a FAST START!

Shopping Spree Tip: Add business supplies to your shopping cart first when using your shopping spree points! Then if any inventory in your order goes over the points amount, it will count toward that month’s PSV.

The last piece of the Ready Set Win program is the Winning Start, and the opportunity to earn the lovely Sterling Silver Lilla Rose LR Necklace. This gift goes to New Stylists, Rachel included, when her cumulative PSV for her first three months reaches $2,000, and she has recruited a total of 3 New Stylists.

If Rachel did not start with the Fast Start, she may be wishing she did… Good news! If absolutely no orders have come through on her website, she can still add on the Fast Start Kit! But this means no customer orders and no personal orders. Once those orders have gone through, the Fast Start Kit is off the table. At that point, you must work hard to become Fast Start Bonus Qualified. All Stylists will become Fast Start Bonus Qualified once their lifetime personal sales volume reaches $2,000. Then the Fast Start bonuses mentioned above can be yours as well on future enrollees. (Note: if you earned the necklace, you also earned FSBQ!)

Through this process, Rachel has worked hard and earned the rewards of a thriving new business and it’s income, new friendships, and a new place to belong. Welcome to the Lilla Rose family, Rachel!

Easy Hair How-To with your new Lilla Rose accessories (Flexi-Clip & U-Pin)

I do quick and easy hairstyle demos when I’m at craft and vendor shows, and when I do parties. Sometime ladies say, “I hope I can do that when I get home!” Well, this post is just for you! 🙂 This video shows the easy Flexi-Clip twist I most often show, as well as two styles you can do with U-Pins (which works for hair sticks as well).
